Relief, Elation, Awe

Today after lunch I heard my name announced over the prison's PA system. My caseworker was calling me into his office to tell me that I was accepted into the Inmate Mentor Certification Program. Out of over 600 applicants, I was one of just thirty who were accepted.

This is what I have been praying for! I feel relieved, elated, and a little awed.
