My Resolution

This year I have a simple resolution.
When facing temptation
  I'll scratch underneath its surface
  to identify the unmet needs and the fear
  the particular forms that temptation is promising to relieve.
Then I'll hone my mind and visualize
  the future that would really satisfy me.
I'll call forth the forces that will make it possible
  and sacrifice my energy in that direction.
